Adarco Energy is an independent Moroccan Exploration & Production (E&P) company.

The Group is a partner in exploration and production licenses in Africa and has interests in hydrocarbon transport infrastructure.

Our strategy is to redevelop and produce mature fields while optimizing our operations and reducing our carbon footprint through the implementation of renewable energy projects.

Our vision

“Oilfield exploration and redevelopment are essential to meet the world’s growing demand for energy.
In response, the oil and gas industry is facing major challenges,
particularly in terms of the operating philosophy for marginal and mature fields.”

To achieve this, Adarco Energy has focused on the following key challenges:

  • Optimize operational efficiency (performance and costs),
  • Secure energy supply,
  • Development of mature fields combined with exploration to support long-term production,
  • Transition to a net zero carbon footprint.

Indeed, managing marginal and mature fields requires efficient use of resources and investment in innovative technologies, not only to improve hydrocarbon recovery but also to reduce operating costs and minimize environmental impact.

Adarco Energy aims to become one of the pioneering private E&P companies in Morocco. Adarco Energy is also committed to implementing a “Net Zero” strategy, offsetting each of its greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible by developing sustainable initiatives. This is the goal we have fixed for ourselves at Adarco Energy, in order to place the group among the industrial players wishing to invest in renewable energies in Morocco.

To meet these challenges, Adarco Energy relies on the following strengths:

  • Several years of experience in Oil & Gas, in partnership with renowned operators.
  • A network of experts with experience in upstream Oil & Gas, and more specifically in the redevelopment of mature fields.
  • A strong determination to continue investing in E&P through external growth.
  • First-class partnerships to develop renewable energy projects.

Our commitment

Our priority is to promote the excellence of Moroccan industrial know-how in the hydrocarbon sector, combined with the contemporary challenges of energy transition through innovation and the implementation of sustainable alternatives from project design through to operation.

As a player in Morocco’s energy sector, we at Adarco Energy are committed to controlling our carbon footprint by offsetting each of our CO2 emissions to achieve carbon neutrality. The objective is based on an accurate and perfect knowledge of the carbon footprint, enabling us to handle carbon emissions specifically.

The Adarco Energy Group is thus taking on a strong ESG commitment, with the ambition of financing programs to sequester more CO2.
